Chapter 6 : O-powers manual and locations

O-powers are temporary bonus effects, which accomplish a variety of purposes. Some of them raise your pokemon’s stats during battle or increase the chances of capturing/encountering one. The O-powers list is actually quite impressive.

You can obtain them by talking to Mr.Bonding (a guy dressed in a pink suit - left picture below). Gain access to the o-powers from the Player Search System (PSS) (right picture below). Use them for your own benefit or give them to other nearby/online friends and acquaintances (stealth and encounter o-powers are not included).  If another trainer is using an O-power you will notice that his circle is glowing. You have the ability to use it simultaneously by tapping it.

Energy bars (green circles) are required in order to use/give them. Their effect lasts for a few minutes. As soon as you profit from all of the available energies, wait until they recharge. It takes some minutes but you can speed up the procedure by increasing the number of steps on your 3ds.

Furthermore, you are able to level up your O-powers. Frequent usage can upgrade their effectiveness. More energy bars are required for level 2 and even more for level 3. You can always use the lower levels even after upgrading them.
